Exhibition Identity

May 2008

Incorporating architecture, animation and graphic design, Handbuilt and Osborn designed a unique booth space for an international eyeglasses trade show held in New York City.

Each of the three display cases included a diorama of five multi-colored, transparent, laser-cut acrylic panels, propped up one in front of the other with space in between each row.

The patterns for the 15 unique panels were derived directly from the animated sequences, yet, when the predestined five were combined as a group, they evoked the particular sentiment or aura that each was entitled with: love, moment and light. By combining the five unique panels, each color built upon the other and eventually blended together to create a single cohesive display.
