We created a school identity that orients, uplifts, and celebrates individuality. Colorful and warm extruded signage welcomes students, families, and staff. Four bold color zones, applied to floors, cabinetry, and walls, help young students navigate the building and give each quadrant a distinct identity. At the heart of the school, a sunlit atrium becomes a shared space for gathering. Here, a flock of birds takes flight across the walls, each one unique, each one speaking. From afar, the group appears strong, fast, and rising. Up close, individual birds reveal their own voices: exclamations and questions drawn from student reflections on momentum, freedom, friendship, and self-worth. The mural becomes a chorus of encouragement, a celebration of difference, and a visual metaphor for the school’s aspirations. Every graphic element was designed to help children find their place—and take off from it.
