Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa established the Food Policy Task Force to evaluate the city’s foodshed and propose innovative solutions to improve food access, distribution, and waste management. Working in partnership with Paula Daniels, we developed the resulting Good Food report, structured around four defining principles: health, affordability, fairness, and sustainability. Through this project, from Jonathan Gold’s foreword to the report's recommendations, we gained a deep understanding of our local food system, for which we remain very grateful.
