We developed this Wayfinding Plan to provide the College and its District with a roadmap towards enhanced accessibility, navigation, security, and ultimately, belonging.

Through a thorough site analysis, a classification of all current signs, observation sessions, and numerous conversations with diverse groups, we identified areas of improvement for different users.

Our plan outlines clear directions to realize signage consistency, orient diverse visitors through different modes of transportation, and engage the surrounding community in campus life. It also proposes to reclaim the heart of the campus as a place of socialization and pride. Throughout the project, we took into consideration the campus’ rich history and proposed ways to refer to it in the future.

The wayfinding proposal, integrated with the Landscape Plan, enhances the sense of arrival, welcomes newcomers and daily users, and enriches the student experience.
