Sinks: Places We Call Home — Exhibition Design

This exhibition by Self Help Graphics & Art presents the work of artists denouncing drastic environmental disparities caused by manufacturing groups in two Los Angeles communities. It documents the artists’ visionary ideas for progress, giving voice to scientists and private citizens, fostering a deep reverence for nature, and building community as resistance against environmental injustice.

We developed a family of icons depicting people, plants, environments, and systems in a shared style. We hope that any community fighting their own environmental disparities can use this book and modular kit to share the vision of what thriving in nature means to them.
