Sinks: Places We Call Home — Exhibition Catalog
This exhibition catalog presents the work of artists denouncing the drastic environmental disparities caused by manufacturing groups in two Los Angeles communities. It also documents the artists’ visionary ideas for progress. These ideas give voice to scientists and private citizens, foster deep reverence for nature, and build community as a form of resistance against environmental injustice.
Our book design serves three purposes: showcasing commissioned artwork, documenting grassroots efforts, and sharing scientific approaches and results. While gallery shots expand to full bleed, snapshots of community at work glow on the page, and diagrams are juxtaposed with gallery settings.
